The issue of rural generic capacity building is dealt with as part of overall work on capacity building and that rural volunteering under that thematic working groups.
The Rural Working Group began its consideration from the following which are drawn from “Building Civil Renewal” the Government’s consultation document on capacity building:
- Representative forums and structures
- Physical hubs
- Easy access to small grants
- A Rural Voice
